
Afam I. Okeke, Esq., MBA, CIPP/US
Afam I. Okeke’s is practice areas span business law and data privacy and cybersecurity law. He advises clients on mitigating risks on advanced business decisions and cutting-edge innovations.
He regularly drafts and negotiates contracts, licensing agreements, and joint venture agreements. He represents clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies in a range of industries, including technology, real estate, gaming, entertainment, retail, and finance sectors. Afam is particularly interested in data privacy and its intersection with new technologies. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US).
Afam holds a Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration degree from Loyola University New Orleans, where he also earned a Certification of Concentration in Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship. He was a Student Attorney for the Technology and Innovation Clinic and a seminar mentor for Harvard University's CS50 Computer Science course in 2020. He is admitted to practice law in Texas and New York and will soon be admitted to the California bar.
In his free time, he enjoys volunteering in his community, staying active with basketball, golf, or tennis, as well as spending time with his family and friends..
